Hello there! I am Lou Erratt, the proud owner of this family-run business. Midas was founded in 2018. I am dedicated to bringing an exquisite selection of culinary delights to kitchens worldwide from our beautiful location on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It is my personal goal to share the exceptional flavors and unique character of our homeland through our carefully curated range of products.
Our Heritage
As a chef I had the good fortune to immerse myself in a culinary universe filled with diverse flavors, intriguing textures, and endless creativity at several esteemed restaurants and five-star hotels where I gathered valuable insights into premium ingredients. After being away from the food industry for many years it was the irresistible draw of my culinary roots that led me back, opening the path to Midas Luxury Gifts.

The Midas range is hand-bottled to the highest HACCP standard in partnership with the Synergy Group – a community-based employment organisation dedicated to providing meaningful employment to those living with permanent disabilities. We proudly support Synergy’s vision on an inclusive future for all Australians.
